A physics 12 talk, part three of three, about the impulse rocket with a look at interplanetary and interstellar rocket travel. The ultimate impulse rocket, the Orion system, using small nuclear charges is presented. The author met Dr. Ted Taylor at a CNTB meeting in nevada in 1988 and had a nice chat with the designer of the impulse charges. The solar sail is also presented.
